ENPS and several concerned residents of Gibbons expressed their concerns to Gibbons Town Council in the fall over breaches in the perimeter fencing at Gibbons Badlands Prairie.

On February 18, seventeen people attended the 2026 Annual General Meeting, both in person (braving a cold and snowy night) and by Zoom.

About 40 people attended ENPS’ Volunteer Appreciation Potluck Supper on Saturday, January 17, at the Belgravia Community League Hall.

ENPS was invited to participate in a Youth Climate Summit at the Bennett Centre, operated by the Edmonton Public School Board. Sixty to seventy students and teachers took part.

The Friends of the Dunluce Treestand, ENPS, the Dunluce Community League, and the Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition (ERVCC) hosted a “Love the Dunluce Treestand Day” on September 27 at the Dunluce Treestand (15807 121 Street in northwest Edmonton).

On August 31, 2025 ENPS Board members Kristina Haagsma and Daniella Liknes guided this field trip, which attracted a total of 13 participants, for about half of whom it was a first visit.

On the morning of August 16th, ENPS Board member Daniella Liknes took part in a restoration event in Dawson Park, organized by the Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition (ERVCC).

For the second time, ENPS and ANPC worked together to organize a native plant garden tour in Edmonton.
