Native Garden Tour – ENPS and ANPC

Jul 5, 2025

For the second time, ENPS and ANPC worked together to organize a native plant garden tour in Edmonton.

On Saturday, July 5th, the second annual native garden tour took place, organized by Kate Spencer of ENPS and Ash Davidson of the Alberta Native Plant Council.  Visitors were divided into two groups, and kicked off the tour at the ENPS’ native plant bed at the Muttart Conservatory, with Liz Deleeuw and Cherry Dodd showing them around. The two groups then went on to visit members’ native plant gardens, hosted by Manna Parseyan, Patsy Cotterill, Kristina Haagsma and Adam Bailey from ENPS. Among them they displayed a wide range of garden landscapes and native species, and their efforts were much appreciated by the curious  participants. The hosts in turn thoroughly enjoyed showing off their properties, as well as seeing other hosts’ gardens
