Walk & Weed Party at Nisku Prairie

Board member and botanist Patsy Cotterill will lead the participants on a short tour of parts of the grassland portions of this aspen parkland remnant in Leduc County. After the tour, we will do some weed removal, followed by planting of native plants in some of the areas that have been cleared.

Please email patsy@enps.ca to register your intent to attend or if you have any questions. This way I can let you know if there is a postponement due to inclement weather.
We will meet and park on a safe acreage subdivision road called Kayda Estates, opposite a trail that leads into the Prairie. (Kayda Estates is the first turnoff to the right when you enter Vista Estates South from Hwy 615 coming east from Hwy 2 or west from Beaumont.)
