About the event

Melissa's yard transformation began in 2019 and has taken many interesting twists and turns along the way. What keeps increasing is the number of bird species that have visited her urban Edmonton yard. Every year is unique, and every day in her yard offers new lessons and insight into the ways of urban wildlife.

Melissa will be presenting an overview of what 83 species of birds visited her yard in 2025, some special wildlife encounters she had and what changes she has made to her wildlife habitat this year to keep it meeting the needs of urban wildlife.
